This gorgeous piece was produced by Beeanese in the 1960's. It has been completely refurbished, with surfaces and tapered wooden legs hand-painted in Farrow & Ball Off Black Estate Eggshell, and a stunning dark floral decoupage to the drawer fronts, overlaid with diamond hard satin varnish for protection. Tactile curved handles have been stripped back and treated with Danish Oil.
Being compact in size, it is a wonderfully versatile unit, perfect for use as a dining room buffet, a media unit, a dressing table, a hall or landing console - the choice is yours!

My items are all carefully refinished, with every attention to detail. But remember, they are hand-painted pre-loved vintage pieces, so please expect characterful imperfections rather than a modern factory finish. Externally, this piece was in a sorry state when I found it (do get in touch for a before pic!), however considering this, it has refurbished beautifully. The surfaces have been stripped back, damage repaired, and the top and sides have been primed, undercoated, painted and varnish-coated to achieve a smooth satin finish. On close expection, you may notice minor imperfections beneath the paint, as to be expected with a piece of this age and bearing in mind its previous condition. The original leg-fixings have been replaced with new. The drawers are in good condition inside, having been thoroughly cleaned and re-oiled - they are fully functional, but obviously not modern smooth-sliders!! If you have any questions at all regarding the condition of this piece, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
