The iconic Fresco 'floating top' dressing table was designed by Victor Wilkins for G Plan in the 1960's, originally for their bedroom range. This model comes without the original mirror and mounts, but could be paired with a freestanding or wall mounted mirror, or used as a stylish desk instead, with ample storage. It has the additional sought after hidden drawer at the centre, complete with striking purple baize lining. It has been carefully looked after over the years and remains in lovely vintage condition throughout (please see RETRO section below).
(Please note, the chair shown in photograph 5 is not included).
Space for knees: W51cm x H65cm
My original teak items are carefully selected and revived with utmost care. But remember, they are preloved vintage pieces; please expect characterful imperfections and not a factory modern finish.
This piece remains in excellent vintage condition throughout. The top surface has been stripped back and newly refinished, and presents in gorgeous condition with no marks or scratches. The rest has been sensitively cleaned and the exterior surfaces have been reoiled, to nourish and enhance the beautiful grain. There are a couple of small superficial scratches towards the bottom of the left side panel; any other blemishes are very minor and do not detract the eye. The drawers all open and close effortlessly, exactly as they should, and are in lovely clean condition inside. The original purple baize lining remains in excellent condition inside the secret central drawer. The infamous red G Plan foil sticker is still present inside the top left drawer.

CARING FOR YOUR PIECE
It will be important to treat your vintage piece with care, to keep it looking its best for years more to come. Always ensure any items placed on to the surfaces are clean and not sticky underneath, use mats and coasters where possible and wipe away any spillages immediately with a soft cloth. Use a soft cloth to dust and avoid silicone-based polishes.
Please note, I cannot accept responsibility for any damage caused to your piece, once it is in your care.
