This elegant bow-fronted credenza was made by British furniture manufacturer Jentique during the early 1960's. The body, drawer fronts and legs have been hand-painted in Coal Black Fusion Mineral Paint, and the rosewood door fronts have been gently sanded back and reoiled to enrich the stunning grain. It has a central bank of three good-sized drawers (one with removeable dividers), flanked by cupboards with fixed half-depth shelving. The original handles were damaged and have been replaced, with tactile black leather pulls to the cupboard doors and tapered solid brass knobs to the drawers.
This gorgeous piece will undoubtedly add a touch of subtle glamour and sophistication to any modern living space.

For a courier quote, please send me a message with your full postcode, before you buy. Alternatively, you are very welcome to arrange your own collection from me in Brighton (as soon as current social distancing restrictions are lifted).
• At the moment, courier companies are still operating, working to strict Government and public health guidelines, which will mean that they can only deliver to your doorstep, driveway or the pavement outside your home (having collected from me in the same way). If you are unable to or would rather not accept deliveries at this time, I would be more than happy to store your piece after purchase until current restrictions have been lifted and it is safer to do so. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to talk any of this through further •
My items are very carefully restored with every attention to detail. But remember, they are pre-loved, hand-painted vintage pieces, so please expect characterful imperfections.
This fabulous credenza has been newly restored and restyled for sale. The interior remains in excellent vintage condition throughout, with only minor signs of use - however please note, the original felt lining inside the top drawer is no longer in tact, so I have chosen to re-line the drawer with a modern geometric print paper (photos available by request).
As with any painted/refinished piece, it is important to use with extra care, to keep it looking lovely for years to come.
