This adorable cabinet was produced by E Gomme in the early 1950's as part of the iconic G Plan Brandon range. It was originally designed with a raised shelf section on top, however at some point this section must have been removed, making it one of a kind. Restyled with surfaces in Farrow & Ball Manor House Gray Estate Eggshell, and decoupage to the door front featuring a grey brushstroke spot design from House by John Lewis, overlaid with layers of diamond hard matt varnish for protection. A super-cute piece, perfect as a low-level bedside cabinet or side table, or for a child's nursery or playroom.
I would love to home this piece together with the matching chest of drawers pictured. See full details in separate listing.

My items are all carefully refurbished, with every attention to detail. But remember, they are hand-painted pre-loved vintage pieces, so please expect characterful imperfections rather than a modern factory finish. This piece had clearly been well used over the years and was badly marked when I found it with some damage to the veneer on top. It has been a pleasure giving it a new lease of life! The interior is in good condition, having been thoroughly cleaned and reoiled.
